Welcome to Little Mozarts 4 FUN family! You are giving your child a gift that can last a lifetime. This information is given to help you in supporting your child’s successful music study.

Covid Procedures :If you have been exposed to Covid, but test negative please wear a mask. If you test positive, please stay home.

Lessons : Each weekly 60 minute lesson will consist of group and individual activities. Presto is for a group of students.

PARENT and STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: At the lesson

• Finish snacks/wash hands before each lesson.
• All materials should come to class.
• Fingernails should be kept short
• Parents are not required to attend class, though they are welcome to observe. Please arrange your visit in advance.

PARENT and STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: At Home

• Review the weekly assignment with your student.
• At first your student needs lots of parental assistance with home assignments. As they progress they will become more independent.
• A functioning piano/keyboard must be provided.

TUITION/MATERIAL FEES:

Fees are structured on a 9 weekly basis.

• A one time $100 materials fee is due in June to reserve your space in our program.
• Tuition is due before each subsequent session begins. See our calendar for details. August, October, January and March.
• We accept Zelle or Venmo payments only.

CANCELLATIONS/ MAKE UP LESSONS/TERMINATION/REFUNDS:

• Students are required to come to lessons every week so long as they are not sick.
• Make up classes are subject to availability in an alternate class.
• All Teacher cancellations will be re- scheduled.
• No refunds given.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT DURING CLASS: Parents are not required to attend class though they are welcome to observe. Please arrange your visit in advance.

MEDIA RELEASE: Photographs and videos of student performances ( first name only) may be used for promotional, parent observation and/or educational purposes. Parents wishing to exclude their students from any published media must do so in writing.

Lessons : Each 40 minute weekly lesson will be divided into 20 minutes learning at the piano and 20 minutes playing games,singing songs, rhythm activities and reinforcing concepts learned. All students will be emailed a weekly homework assignment.

• ACHIEVERS (Parental help required) will be provided with a guided home practice sheet each week and all materials necessary to complete it except a piano/keyboard. This will include singing , playing and reading/writing activities to be done at home.
• EXPLORERS You are encouraged to engage with them about the weekly assignment and have them explore their home instrument. Our hope is that you will see that the ACHIEVERS path is within your family's capabilities.

• Repeated disruptions to class will result in parents needing to attend.

• Be punctual.
• Bring all materials to every lesson.
• ACHIEVERS Path ONLY. Student’s need lots of parental assistance at home.
• Read the weekly assignment (emailed to you) and sit with your child to complete it until practice becomes a habit for them.
• A functioning piano/keyboard must be provided.

TUITION/MATERIAL FEES:

Fees are structured on a 6 weekly continuous basis.

• A one time $75 registration fee is due prior to your first session to reserve your space in our program. This includes a $50 refundable deposit.
• Session fee includes all materials needed. Tuition is due before each subsequent session begins. See our calendar for details.
• We accept Venmo or Zelle payments only.

DISCONTINUING LESSONS :

We require 21 days written notice to discontinue lessons. This allows us to fill your spot. If sufficient notice is NOT given the $50 enrollment fee will not be refunded.
